Citrus Medical Marijuana Clinic
In order to be considered for a medical marijuana prescription, you must have a qualifying condition according to the state of Florida to benefit from the use of medical marijuana. The State of Florida allows doctors to order medical marijuana for patients with a qualifying medical condition.
You must also meet the qualifying conditions for the Florida Medical Marijuana Program (Senate Bill 8-A). These conditions include:
- Cancer
- Epilepsy
- Glaucoma
- HIV/AIDS
- PTSD
- ALS
- Crohn’s disease
- Parkinson’s disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Terminal Conditions
- Chronic nonmalignant Pain
Additionally, Senate Bill 8-A allows physicians to certify patients for medical marijuana recommendation after diagnosis of “other debilitating medical conditions of the same kind, class, or comparable to those above. These may include:
- Severe generalized anxiety disorder
- Anorexia
- Arthritis with chronic debilitating pain
- Back pain
- Cachexia
- Cyclical vomiting syndrome
- Diabetes
- Hepatitis C
- Irritable bowel syndrome (with chronic abdominal pain)
- Lyme disease
- Migraine
- Muscle spasm
- Muscular dystrophy
- Severe & chronic pain
- Severe nausea
- Sickle cell anemia
- Other debilitating conditions of like, kind, class
